Why the name

DustOff originated from a U.S. Helicopter Ambulance commander that started using the radio call sign “DustOff” for his medical evacuation chopper in Vietnam. The name, in part, because of the clouds of dust that would billow up when helicopters took off or landed. 

Being veteran-owned, we wanted to find a way to pay tribute to the men and women of the armed forces, which is where the name “DustOff” was created. DustOff also became an acronym in the military that stands for “Dedicated Unhesitating Service to Our Fighting Forces”.
